Good evening Reimer families. One of our goals is to increase communication through the use of technology. Mr. Bains and Mr. Brar have developed, "Reimer Studios" where they will be teaching students how to create video broadcasting. The great thing is that every video announcement will be translated from English into Punjabi. Other languages are in the works. Dear Families of Eugene Reimer Students, You will have noticed that there is an increased amount of traffic in and around Eugene Reimer this school year. We now have full enrollment of 655 students. There has been lots of development in the area around the school and we have a large number of students who are driven to school in a car. This year our 7 school buses now pick our students up at Eugene Reimer after school (instead of Rick Hansen). This is great for our bus stu...dents as they stay at our school instead of walking down to Hansen. The first wave of 5 buses leaves promptly at 2:40 pm. The other 2 buses leave by 2:50pm. Please note there is no parking and waiting for your child at the entrance to the parking lot or the loop closest to the school. Illegally parked cars are making it unsafe for buses to make their turn in. By parking and waiting the buses are unable to pick the students up safely. If you are picking your child up please arrange with your child to be picked up outside of the Reimer parking lot on a close street like the new RockHill Place street. If you do choose to come into the traffic loop please do not park and wait for your child. You will be asked to leave the parking lot and loop back. Please see the attached photo of the area where parked cars are affecting buses.
