Hello team, We would like to take this opportunity to provide an update on the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS) and its application within Compass Group Canada (the Company, CGC). We have just been advised that the current qualification and subsidy amounts for our CEWS associates will remain as is until June 5, 2021. We expect to receive more information up to a week before June 5th on the applicability to CGC and whether CEWS will continue beyond that date. We w...ill keep you informed as soon as we are made aware of any updates. In the meantime, our priority is to bring as many of our great associates back to work as possible; to that end, we have launched an initiative called CompassFIRST. As part of this initiative, a dedicated team is reviewing all available positions within the organization and matching those positions to associates who continue to be on CEWS and on lay-off/leave. Please be advised that you could be recalled at any time during this leave period and would be expected to return to work fit for full duties immediately upon recall to a reasonable offer/role.
