The EAC has once again outgrown its current form and is evolving. No longer do we concern ourselves with activities. We now concern ourselves with the most pressing and important issue of the 21st century: the economy. Happy (inclusive) holidays from the EAC! To help our loyal fans have a safe and spiritually prosperous holiday season, our team of experts have assembled this comprehensive list of safety laws for the holiday season. We encourage every one of our fans and their friends and family to review this list carefully and commit it to memory. It could save your life. 1. Be sure to wear a U.S. or Canadian Coast Guard approved life preserver at all times when water is present. Remember,... volume does not matter, and water does not discriminate. 80% of people who die from drowning are males. Children ages 1-4 are most likely to drown. 2. Be sure that there are ignition sources near your christmas tree (menorahs included). Remember, trees are made of wood, which is flammable. 3. Be sure to regulate your sugar intake over the holiday season, because diabetes never sleeps. 1.5 million people die worldwide from diabetes directly every year. Don't let this be you. 4. Be sure to keep the volume level on your (inclusive) holiday music to a reasonable level. Hearing damage is cumulative, and medical science has NOT found a cure. 5. Be sure that when you are roasting your chestnuts on an open fire, you have adequate ventilation. If you do not, smoke with quickly build up in the area, and can cause serious and irreparable lung damage. That you for your continued loyalty to the EAC. Despite being a worldwide syndicate of like-minded activity enthusiasts, we at the EAC will never forget our roots at UBC. As an officially sanctioned UBC club, we posses the power to nominate candidates for the current presidential search. The EAC is proud to announce to our loyal fans, following careful and tireless deliberation by our executive board, that we are beginning our transition from the Engineering Activity Council to the Everyone Activity Council in an effort to increase our ubiquity and support globalisation. We will retain the acronym EAC in an effort to reduce confusion during this exciting time and to reduce overhead costs associated with reproducing and re-issuing merchandise.
