Halifax Regional Municipality has hired Dunsky Consulting to create a report and a set of recommendations for HRMs municipal EV Strategy. If you have thoughts on this, please email [email protected], we will collect & distil this information and will ensure that current and future EV owners are represented in this stakeholder engagement. The four pillars of this EV Strategy are: 1) Public Infrastructure deployment. They will be looking at several locations, commute times, barrier...s around Multi-Unit Residential Buildings, garage orphans (street-side charging). 2) Policies and programs. examples are 100% EV readiness for new constructions. Right to Charge regulations etc 3)Public education campaign, key components and how the city would be involved. 4) Electrification of the municipal fleet in the next 10 years. This is a great opportunity for current and future EV owners to have their voices heard!
