Dahlias! I love them! This year I was determined to increase the amount I grow. I have added 43 new varieties to the ones I grew last year and I am so excited to see them all in bloom! My tubers from last year stored really well so there will be lots and lots of dahlias The demand for dahlia tubers in Canada this year is crazy. I had to source my dahlias tubers from 5 different places, with a lot of varieties selling out within minutes of opening up online sales. A sea of sweet pea seedlings. Every year I soak my sweet peas before planting but this year I lived on the edge and didn't. Everything came up except 2 varieties where I didn't get any germination. Thinking that those seeds just weren't viable. I think I've converted to not soaking before. If you grow sweet peas are you in the soaking before camp or not? #sweetpeas #shuswapgrown #localflowers
