There are so many emotions right now, and we know many in our community are stressed, anxious, and having difficulty coping. Uncertainty is scary. Just like everyone, we too are feeling the gamut of emotions. But, we stand ready and prepared to help. Mental health struggles are deeply affected by loneliness, and right now we are in a time of instituted physical isolation. But physical isolation is not the same as emotional and social isolation. We might be apart, but you ARE NOT ALONE. If you are struggling right now, pick up that phone, we are here for you. We are getting a few frequently asked questions: 1. Does my extended health insurance cover appointments through Telehealth? Yes, all of the major insurance companies have given a commitment to allow appointments to proceed through phone or secure video conference under your benefits. 2. Are you still booking appointments? Yes, for consultative appointments which include speech and language therapy, counselling, and naturopathic medicine. These are provided through secure video conference or phone. For the time being, all hands on therapies are suspended. You can call the office (519-787-4100) or book online https://ontariohealth.janeapp.com/ 3. Can I get prescription or supplement refills? Yes, supplements are pre-paid over the phone, packaged, and picked up in a pick up bin located outside the clinic. The bin is routinely sanitized, and gloves/sanitizer are provided. Prescription refills are faxed to your pharmacist.
