With the rise in popularity among social media platforms like TikTok, we have pivoted and started working more and more with personalities who rose to fame off these platforms for many reasons! What is the benefit of working with TikTok influencers specifically? ... different and unique from the existing social media platforms; while other platforms include options for video, TikTok is solely video. Captions are short and sometimes unnecessary. Unlike YouTube, which is also video-centric, TikTok is designed for mobile devices, and the clips are short bursts of action compared to longer, drawn-out videos. Influencers have become popular on TikTok because they’re quickly and easily able to create a real connection with the people who follow them or see their videos. The more people feel connected to someone, the more likely they are to trust them. A great TikTok influencer marketing strategy has the power of getting your brand and product in front of a huge new audience, and tons of potential new customers!

WWE May Not Return To Live Events When Pandemic Is Over Going virtual has proven a profitable change for WWE which looks to keep the model past Covid. The company is currently setting record profits without doing live events. Prior to that, house shows hadn’t been making as much money and were starting to be seen as a money loser for WWE. However, when house shows went away, WWE Shop merchandise numbers went up and total sales ended up being nearly identical to when there we...re live events. https://411mania.com//wwe-may-not-return-to-live-events-w/

Like most businesses, companies in the media, entertainment, and arts industries will likely look first to their business interruption policy, if they have one, to cover their losses from the past several months. Intuitively, these policies seem relevant to the pandemic, during which business in nearly every sector of the economy has been interrupted. However, even though these policies are often marketed as providing all-risk coverage, they are typically written in such a way that coverage must be triggered by physical "damage or loss." https://www.lexology.com/library/detail.aspx

While switching up your entire event model is never an easy decision, the cost of waiting (or, in other words, doing nothing) is much greater. This year has exposed almost everyone to virtual events, and a hybrid model is now emerging. This model will likely stick around, even after restrictions have been lifted. https://www.forbes.com//11/the-future-of-events-is-hybrid/

Technology has taken centre stage. It has become the new medium for our industry to drive the human connection, and it is revolutionising the way we interact with one another. The industry is still connecting, learning and lifting each other up - just in a virtual environment. It is this technological revolution that will ultimately accelerate our road to recovery. https://www.hospitalitynet.org/news/4101554.html
