Ever After Birth 04.12.2020

MTHFR Take a look at these pictures. Have you or your child ever had any of these marks? These marks are indicators of a mutation to the MTHFR gene. Many o...f you may have heard of MTHFR by now, and no that’s not an abbreviation for the curse word MTHFR is a gene that provides instructions for making an enzyme called MethyleneTetraHydroFolate Reductase. This MTHFR gene initiates your ability to methylate, a key process that affects your stress response, inflammation, brain chemistry, energy production, immune response, detoxification, antioxidant production, cell repair, and genetic expression. Having a variation or mutation of this gene can create an array of health problems from irritability and obsessiveness to birth defects and cancer. The two most common MTHFR variants are C677T and A1298C. For each you receive a copy from your mom and a copy from your dad. So for example: I am compound heterozygous which means I have 1 mutated copy of C677T and 1 mutated copy of A1298C. My daughter, Brylei, is homozygous for C667T. Which means she got 2 mutated copies of the C667T gene, one from me and one from her dad One important way this particular gene variation can impact you is that it effects how well your body can metabolize folate and folic acid and also how well you detox toxins that enter your body. Mutations in the MTHFR gene can cause you to be less efficient in converting folate to its active form, which in turn may lead to elevated levels of homocysteine. Maintaining appropriate levels of homocysteine is important in the prevention of chronic disease There have been many conditions that are associated with MTHFR. These can include: Depression Bipolar disorder Anxiety Schizophrenia Chronic fatigue ADD Migraines Chronic pain Fibromyalgia Recurrent miscarriages Infertility Birth defects Autism Cardiovascular disorders Autoimmune disease Cancer Additionally when people have MTHFR mutations, their chances of vaccine reactions increase drastically because they cannot properly detox the toxins from the vaccines. Then if Tylenol is given, the chances of a vaccine injury increase even more because Tylenol decreases the glutathione levels in the body which is essential to detoxification. Please educate yourself and advocate for your health and your child’s health. I’ll be talking more about MTHFR later. Specifically ways to support and detox your body. It’s just a super in depth and complex topic with too much to post at once. -HHHM

Check out this true umbilical knot! Wharton's jelly does an amazing job of protecting the vessels! This is after I dried the cord, so it's even more slippy in amniotic fluid! What do you think? Pretty cool hey!
