"I am currently on maternity leave with 4 month-old twins (we also have a 4-year-old and 2-year-old). My husband will be taking over the parental leave in a couple months." Your biggest pregnancy myth. "That you can’t eat sushi. I ate it regularly (from a clean reputable place)!" What was your pregnancy must have item? "Compression stockings/socks. I mostly wore the waist-high opaque tights (in winter) - with cute dresses or even under scrubs! They were essential with my long days and restless legs." Favourite local/shop restaurant in the city. "Lately I can not get enough of Black Market Provisions. We have been trying to eat fewer animal products and they have so many great options. Post-partum a friend brought me the best care package from them. "

"Muslin Blankets - Used them for swaddling, car seat covers, to lay down on anywhere, burp cloths - you name it!" What is the most useless baby item you have? "Newborn sized clothing. Our baby was a big boy when born and skipped right past being able to fit those outfits." Your biggest pregnancy myth. "If your water breaks, it's not like the movies...mine was exactly like in the movies!" Favourite local shop/restaurant in the city. "Segovia was my fav restaurant...with it's closure - I would say Sous Sol and Deer & Almond.

All parents should read it." What did you love about being pregnant? "Being on the receiving end of the kindness of strangers. I have since learned that families wrangling small children need folks to hold doors etc as much - or more - than pregnant women! :)" What was your pregnancy must have item? "Prenatal massages from Cassie Klassen. Heaven." What is your baby must have item? "I loved and used the heck out of NoseFrida snotsuckers and Baby Butz diaper cream." With the new changes starting Monday, I am going to switch things up a bit. Thursday will be APPOINTMENTS ONLY between 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. Email or message us to book your 45 minute slot. Friday & Sunday hours will remain the SAME, just down to 1 shopper in the studio at a time.... My plan right now (as least I think ) is I will be there for the month of November then likely take a break for a bit from the studio. The online store & consigning will remain the same. Pediatric eye care is a passion of mine but I also have a strong focus on dry eye and anterior surface disease." What did you love about being pregnant? "I loved my growing belly and the kicks from the baby." Describe your perfect date night. "Good food enjoyed outside near water in warm/summer weather." Your biggest pregnancy myth. "This is the right way..... There are so many ways to do the right thing. Don’t get burdened by how you feed your child, what brand of stroller or carrier you use, if the blanket is cotton or a high tech whatever fabric, if you swaddle or not. There’s a lot of information to guide you but ultimately your right way may be different than what your mom, friend or parent on tv did." What is your baby must have item? "Medela microwave steam sterilizing bags, a large thin blanket for swaddling (made my own), baby carrier."
