Bravo to these two for being the first to give the Evergreen Park Casino Lounge Big Burger Challenge a shot. Jared Macotte (left photo) and Steve Peters each ta...ckled 32 ounces of burger patties; a giant bun; eight pieces of bacon; piles of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese; two whole sliced tomatoes; half a head of lettuce; sliced pickles and red onions along with sauce, mustard and mayo and a big pile of fries. After the one-hour time limit they had both made it about halfway through so they each had to pay the $79 cost for each meal. Good Morning Arena Users! We have some good news! We will be opening the Drysdale arena for individual riding with a max of 10 people in the arena at a time. At this time, there is still no Team Roping, Team Sorting, 1 on 1 or Group lessons allowed. Requirements of Drop in Riders 1. There will be 2-hour time slots that will need to be pre-booked. This will mean you will need to be cleaned up and out before your time is up which will help with maintaining our numbers in the... arena at all times 2. All arena rules will apply. 3. 2 horses per person and no groups. 4. Masks must be worn when on the ground or within 6 feet of another person. All users must follow all other AHS rules in place at this time. 5. There is be a sign in sheet - everyone must sign in every time! 6. Please remember to clean up and sanitize any area you touched or utilize. 7. Please remember your AEF is now due and will be required when booking. 8. Please note that this is opening for the health and wellness of your equine partners. 9. Looking for a unique experience this winter? Elevation Sled Dogs has it! They are offering sled dog experiences during the day and evenings Thursday to Sunday starting on Dec. 3. at Evergreen Park. Veteran Iditarod racer Aaron Peck of Grande Prairie is bringing the tours to the Park. You will get to learn how to harness the dogs and run them. Each run is about 90 minutes. Two adults and a child can be accommodated with each run and there are two sleds doing the tours through the beautiful snowy and treed pristine Park area.
