The night bite is on. After setting up late in the afternoon we settled in to fish for a few hours. Right at sunset we heard tip up bells go off but the fish d...ropped our tullibee by the time we got there. A few minutes later in the tent Taylor caught a beauty laker just under master angler. Not long after we saw another big mark appear on the finder and Josh hooked into a thick master that took him for a solid ride. This was just one of the awesome nights we had staying at Evergreen Resort. We even got to test out their new Bombadier and got some sweet photos under the northern lights! #clearwateroutfitters

Wishing you all a happy New Year! We were able to ring in 2021 on some giant lake trout. It was our first time winter camping for lakers, Mark and I (Josh) sta...yed in an Eskimo tent and the Lewis family lived in luxury in their ice castle. We spent 5 nights on the ice and ended up reeling in 6 masters! The biggest coming in at 39.5 and the smallest 36. Here’s to 2021 and hopefully being able to share what we have to offer in our beautiful backyard to more of you! Evergreen Resort

Northern trip 2020. What a rollercoaster of a trip! We had wild weather, a broken trolling motor (couldn’t fish for half a day) pouring rain and crazy winds tha...t pushed us off the lake. We had crazy hot bites and slow bites because of the wild weather patterns but still managed to come out with 8 masters, 2 serious giants and 502 Laketrout landed in 5 days of fishing. Ken Kobelka from @EvergreenResort was an awesome host with everything we needed from bait to tackle and he even picked us up from a different boat launch as the waves were over 5’ high. We had an absolutely crazy day and half with an awesome crew, catching 9 master lake trout! We caught six masters our first day out and three the next morning. ...Covid has been an absolute bummer but I can’t wait to get our clients back to share what we have to offer!
