Happy New Year Everyone! Breeding season is under way here at Everlily Maples. Our new location now allows for us to run 2 completely separate herds in 2 different areas of the property, to ensure that even if our previously exposed herd has anyone turn positive between testing, nobody will be affected in the new herd. The new herd consists of Registered Nigerians as well as 2 mini Nubians. As well, all babies will be pulled immediately at birth and bottle raised from that ...herd, in order to keep our genetics but not to risk the health of the babies going forward. I take our herd health very seriously and want to do my absolute best to ensure that our animals are healthy and to know that any kids being sold are raised to live their best lives for their new owners. We look forward to getting back to kidding after a year off while ensuring we did what was in the best health interests of our herd. We will have babies beginning in May. But at the time of filming we didn't realize that and hadn't dont further testing yet.
