"The relationship doesn't create the excitement, life creates the excitement. And I have my best friend to share it with me" Emily & Devon tied the knot on July 18th, 2020 & their day was definitely one for the books despite covid-19 taking them on a detour from their original plans. These two are the sweetest humans ever and I can't express how much fun I had shooting & editing this wedding. ... From the helicopter ride into the mountains to hearing all of the endearing speeches from Emily & Devon's close family & friends, I definitely shed my fair share of tears while editing this. I am beyond grateful they chose me to spend the day with them.
Covid-19, a rainstorm & getting locked out of a car couldn't stop these two from celebrating their love.
Right before the unfortunate covid-19 situation, we had the pleasure of witnessing, filming & photographing the epic marriage of Alex & Joanne. From their first inquiry, I knew that these two were special. From their charismatic personalities to their passion for the arts, I knew this would be a project that would allow me to push myself creatively. And boy was I correct. It had been my first time in a helicopter & what an amazing experience it was. There were so many sights... that took my breath away. I hope that by watching the film, you get to experience even a glimpse of the magic that was created that day. Thank you so much to Alex & Joanne for allowing us to join you on your special day. I hope that you love your film as much as we do. And a special thanks to all of the amazing vendors who made this day possible Makeup: Be Flawless Beauty @beflawlessbeautybar Venue: Rowena's Inn on the River @rowenasinn Helicopter: Compass Heli Tour @compass_heli_tours Photography & Videography by Everness Films. With all of the suffering right now, do you even have the right to be upset over your canceled wedding?
So many of us have had to make the ultimate decision to cancel our weddings this year... and that sucks. Here's how to make it better.
What a crazy amazing day in the mountains. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUTzJr3QoHk&feature=youtu.be

I had met Kortni Brown & Paul pretty last-minute so I had no idea what to expect during the day of their wedding. .. Let me tell you.. It was unexpectedly perfect in every way. Kortni & Paul’s rustic Vancouver wedding was a dream to film. This North Vancouver based couple has been together for nearly a decade (even moving to London for a couple of years), they’ve been through it all.... I absolutely loved the little bits of the wedding that paid tribute to Paul’s Scottish heritage. Everything from his father welcoming the guests to the ceremony with bagpipes to the ceilidh dancing and music during the reception. And don’t even get me started on their vows, I cried more times than I should have during the editing process. Overall, it was a beautiful day. Thank you Kortni & Paul for letting me be apart of it.
A chance encounter and an Instagram follow is all it takes to fuel this modern-day romance. Thank you Julz & Allen for allowing me to be apart of your special day. It was evident how much work had gone into the planning and it was beautiful. With over 300 guests, it was easily the largest wedding I've ever captured.
