We got a natural Christmas tree for the second time ever. First time two years ago was a disaster... we almost lost it on the highway, thanks to my husband who hadn’t tied it properly because of his legendary manual skills and the terrible rope he had brought at the tree farm. In order to avoid all the drama, we went to a local store to get a tree and they only had one left but it looked perfect. It was meant to be! They tied it the right way (yay!) on the roof of our car ...and all... but then, once we got home, we realized the tree was too tall and was literally bending on our ceiling We exchanged it today because they had received more trees but they were all really short and not as nice as the first one and I can’t help but feel disappointed I made a tree skirt to hide the ugly green base but didn’t have as much cane as I thought so it’s barely covering half of it Zoom in, you’ll see! We’re not very lucky when it comes to Christmas trees but it smells great in the house so I won’t complain about that! See more
