Projects involving repurposing or upcycling of unused or damaged items has been one of my passions for many, many years now... But when those unused items belonged to an individual who has passed on, leaving behind such items to loved ones, I am not just eager but absolutely honoured to be able to assist in creating lasting items which will hold such strong significance for family members and friends of those who have departed. This hockey jersey has now become three pillows to be thoughtfully gifted by the creative individual who requested my assistance with this project. Extra care and thoughts go out to all this upcoming Holiday Season, and especially to those who are celebrating for the first time or again without a missed loved one.

What an interesting and challenging year this has been! We would like to thank everyone so much for their understanding during the first provincial closure and for their patient patronage after our cautious reopening! We were hoping to take a brief break for the Holidays, returning to regular business hours on January 4th, but this new provincial closure has changed our plans, as it will have for many others... We will keep an eye on the provincial policies as this lockdown nears its expiry, and will reopen for masked, in-person appointments when it is safe to do so again. In the mean time, we wish everyone an extra safe and Happy Holiday Season! Best wishes for a Happy New Year!

Due to the nature of the majority of our work requiring close proximity while pinning garments/etc, we will be unable to provide traditional repair, alteration and custom sewing services while adequately observing social distancing. Wishing everyone and their family and friends good health in both body and mind during this unprecedented time!
