Evolution Dance

Hello Dancers, As many of you know...after a lengthy absence, we have been back teaching dance lessons 1 night a week since September. As expected, things have been different as we've tried to adjust to the new health & safety requirements. We have tried to acknowledge the concerns surrounding Covid and for the most part have adhered to physical distancing requirements and encouraged you to wear a mask and wash hands regularly. We have also provided hand sanitizer. However......everyone has their own perspective on this situation and we cannot enforce any rules...only recommend. As in any other social situation, we cannot guarantee you are not at risk.,,,it is your choice to attend or not. We have had growing interest in our classes but unfortunately, there is only so much room and therefore we have some new protocols we are trying to follow. As it sits our 2-Step classes is full. with 6 couples. it is a mix of new and seasoned dancers and we are doing our best to accommodate everyone that attends but as you can imagine, it's a daunting task to keep everyone perfectly happy. Our class structure is based on a progressive teaching style that begins with some basics and progresses so everyone in the class gets some value. We still have some space in our West Coast Swing Class...unfortunately, due to the nature of WCS, we can't offer a beginner option....u must have SOME WCS knowledge. If you are a new couple interested in attending our classes....we require a minimum 1 Month commitment. Our lessons are couples only. This means that you must bring your own partner each week. We are fortunate to have found space for the Fall & Winter where we will be able to offer group lessons every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Given that space is limited, we ask you to please pre-register for the lesson(s) via email, text or Facebook messenger. Also on a side note...we ask that you show up 10 minutes early...prepay or have your punch pass signed and take 5 minutes to warm up. Every Wednesday 7:00 - All levels Two-Step Refresher 8:00 - All levels West Coast Swing Refresher Venue Information: Unitarian Church 1310 Bertram Street Kelowna, BC We have decided to increase our prices slightly to help cover the cost of a new venue. We will continue to accept couples punch passes from our previous students. If you have a singles punch pass, you can trade the remaining value towards a new couples pass. 4 week consecutive classes $80 / Couple Punch Pass (10 lessons) expires in 1 year $180 / Couple We are available for private lessons if you can provide the venue. Attention Dance Students, It is with regret that we will be cancelling all our dance lessons until further notice. The OK Corral has temporarily closed their doors due the Corona Virus situation and like many others we feel it is necessary to follow suit. We were considering the option of offering private lessons during this time but access to our venue is not an option. ...
