Custom built and painted #Chevy Orange #Allison 5 speed #Duramax transmission featuring all #billet shafts, C2 hub and P2 planet from @xcalliber_transmission, a host of @altousa G3 parts, @transgoshiftkit parts, a 2006 6 speed style extension with the larger ribs, @goerendtransmission PTO covers and C3 oiler case mod and a whole lot more, accompanied by a rebuilt and upgraded 263XHD transfer case.

Good used low mileage #differential installed in what is probably the highest mileage #C7 #Corvette on the planet with 138,600 miles or 224,500kms on it.... this guy DRIVES it, even had winter tires on it... my kind of owner, why buy a car and look at it parked, enjoy the thing. Unit failed due to a leaking cooler line o’ring causing it to run low on oil. Entire back end of the car has to come apart but was relatively easy to work on. Sat on my hoist for almost a month between getting dicked around by a wrecking yard, covid delays and transport times but she’s good to go. Filled with the correct 75W90 GL5 synthetic oil, and the electronic clutch limited slip system filled, primed and bled.

Because I don’t EVER want that phone call saying my #torqshift pump is leaking out the front or the bushing is spun, they are ALWAYS assembled on the converter going into the unit, with an alignment tool AND shouldered bolts and lots of lube during assembly. #ford #powerstroke #diesel
