We are ready for backfill! This addition hole and foundation presented some challenges as we had to support and protect the existing field stone foundation to get a full depth basement. With some engineering, lots of rebar and concrete we got through it and are excited to get back on track framing. This is a completely custom staircase we built from a couple years ago. The treads and nosing are black stained oak and the rails, posts and pickets are painted poplar.
