There are so many reasons why these classes are a fabulous option for your family. Whether you're stuck at home due to extended health restrictions, or you have a new baby - making it tricky to get out of the house... or maybe the idea of rolling out of bed, eating breakfast and drinking a hot coffee while your little one dances in the living room appeals to ...you. Whatever the reason - our virtual class options promise to bring excitement, entertainment and physical activity directly into the safety and comfort of your own home! Our Storytime Dance Class (ages 2+) includes a story, 30 minute dance class & accompanying activity. Join us on an adventure of movement, imagination, music and creativity! This fun play inspired class integrates creative movement, literacy, play and exploration. Wednesdays 10:00-10:45am (MST) Magical Unicorn Ballet (ages 3+) will get your little one moving while also introducing them to the fundamentals of ballet through play inspired dance and movement. NEW! Magical Unicorn Ballet Virtual Program Are you searching for a fun and interactive activity for your little one that teaches new skills and encourages movement? Our Magical Unicorn Ballet Virtual Program promises to do all this, while promoting connection with others from the safety of your own home. Taught by a certified teacher who understands children and developmentally appropriate methods of teaching, this class will get your little one moving... while also introducing them to the fundamentals of ballet through play inspired dance and movement. SUGAR PLUM {VIRTUAL} TEA PARTY! 2020 is certainly keeping us on our toes (pun intended)! With social gathering restrictions in place we have moved our Third Annual Sugar Plum Tea Party online to our virtual studio! | November 19 is #WomensEntrepreneurshipDay Over 14 years ago we took a GIANT leap of faith and embarked on an adventure that has led us to where we are today. After 5 degrees between us, husbands who adore us (obviously!), many kids dancing around us (6, to be exact), and life experience aplenty... here we are, Stephanie & Vanessa - Co-Founders & Dance School Directors of Evolutions School of Dance. And... Did we mention that we are sisters? Sure, we ha...ve the rare disagreement (as siblings naturally do), but ultimately what drives us is our passion for dance, children, teaching & learning. We are so lucky to have each other and the support of our family, friends, students, and ESD dance families. These past 8 months during a global pandemic have challenged us in ways we never imagined, and forced us to remain on our toes & be flexible (we are, after all, dance teachers). However, we continue to remain true to our values, no matter how difficult things may be. On this day, we want to recognize all the amazing Women Entrepreneurs who continue to strive towards greatness and bring their vision to life, as well as those who have helped us to work towards ours. <3 <3 See more

Dear ESD dance families, At 3:30pm today, November 12, the Alberta government announced new preventive measures to slow the transmission of Covid-19 in our province. These include the following: - Temporary 2 week closure of all group sports and fitness classes in Calgary. As such, starting tomorrow, Friday, November 13, all classes at Evolutions School of Dance will be will be moved online through our Zoom Studio Access to reflect this updated Public Health Order. ... Obviously, this is not our ideal, but we will continue to provide high quality dance education to our students at home until we are able to commence full classes in the studio again. We've done this before and we WILL do it again. We will send another update with Zoom Links later this evening/tomorrow morning. Classes will run as normal tonight. We understand if you decide not to come tonight due to the upcoming closure. As always, we continue to remain committed to the health and safety of our dancers.
