With recent news that group fitness is being put on a temporary suspension, I am looking at going back to online classes again, and I'm super excited ! The private facebook group will included live in in the group classes, as well as some zoom classes for interaction! As I just LOVE to see and interact with everyone while we get some fitness in. I will also offer some one on one coaching via zoom by request. If you have an active membership at the gym, and would like to ...be involved please let me know and I will get you added ! Hey Everyone ! I sure miss you all ! I wanted to send out a heartful thank you to the ones who have reached out to me and asked to keep their memberships going during this time. It doesn't go unnoticed and forever appreciated ! These are crazy and tough times we are all trying to navigate our way through. At this time, it is still unclear as to where gyms will fall into the phase out plan, and when. As soon as I have any further information I will share with everyone. I hope everyone is staying healthy, and finding space for exercise. As a reminder, I do have a group going where I go LIVE daily with various workouts. Friday March 20 Believe me when I say this hasn't been an easy decision . But I feel at this point in time, I am going to have to shut down the gym effective this evening . I already took measures earlier this week to shut down classes, no staff, and tanning. It is time to take the next step. At this time, we need to protect each other, and ourselves. I encourage everyone to take the social distancing responsibly, enjoy time with your family, fresh air ( in your yard if... you can ), and other things you may love to do, but don't usually have the time. The time to act is now. We as a community can help flatten the curve. I'd like to thank the few coming in this week for cooperating and following procedures and using the disposable sanitizing and keeping your distance. For those interested, I do have a group going on facebook where I am going live each day with a workout to follow, and we can share activities and meal ideas. Let's all stay connected even when we can't be close ! I miss everyone, and look forward to when we can all go back to our normal routine and look forward to seeing you in the gym when that time comes. Hello Everyone ! I have been back and forth with this all weekend. I've made the extremely tough decision to cancel ALL CLASSES effective immediately until fu...rther notice to adhere to social distancing requests. I will DEFINITELY be looking at doing some facebook lives and/or virtual classes ! I will be in and out of the gym tomorrow - as the gym stands at the moment, we are taking it day by day to see what comes down in requests and information from health Canada. In the meantime I would ask that everyone PLEASE refrain from coming into the gym if you are not feeling well or are showing ANY flu or cold like symptoms. I have also put out disposable sanitizing wipes, extra spray bottles, as well as paper towels for sanitizing. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING THESE ITEMS ! And be mindful of others around you. There is hand sanitizer hanging in the weight room as well as the open floor space, as well as plenty of hand wash in the washrooms. We will focus on increasing strength and stability with small cardio bursts. 6 - week session being offered to see the interest and if people want to continue ! As everyone is aware, there is a planned power outage this evening ! I will be powering down all powered equipment before close tonight. You won't be able to access the gym, once the power is out ! We are SUPER excited to be launching some new membership management software in the gym ! This will give a lot more abilities for the gym, as well as you as the member ! We will be able to upload workouts for you to access, it will also have a kiosk, online waivers, class bookings, challenges, personal training access, and so much more ! Watch out in the coming weeks, as you will see the switch over and will likely get email confirmation about it, or we may need to be in contact with you, if there is information needed.
