Another great day on the bike just over 50km and I'm sitting on the BC AB border with 55km till golden feeling stoked for tomorrow the section of road will be t...he most challenging so far I even bought a pool noodle to cut in half and stick off my bike to get more awareness of me to the drivers. Pretty cool idea a fellow cyclist the other day passed onto me when I told him I was taking the #1 highway. We drove ahead when I stopped riding and are camping in beautiful golden. I'll be jumping on my bike in the morning to leave Calgary and head home one peddle at a time. Literally!!! I said I was going g to ride from one end of this co...untry to the other 3 years ago and was stopped by a broken leg and many other factors. And now a very wise person convinced me to try out the rockiy mountains first and I decided that was a good start for me. When I first decided to do the whole country I was planning on riding with someone with the reason being to bring awareness to mental illness issues. Now I'm riding alone and I'm doing it for my own mental health and to show my two amazing sons that anything is possible if you believe in yourself. Love you BOYS!!! See you when I get get home.
