Update!! To anyone and everyone asking if we will be opening next week the answer to be simply put is No! Our management team has decided that it has not been long enough for other sections of the public being under less restrictions to observe a possible flare up of cases as well as to see how things will work best in our industry. We at Evolve Pride ourselves on the safety of our staff and the community at large and we feel it would be morally irresponsible to risk... the health and safety of Our Friends, Family, and staff and Patrons just to make a few dollars. Even though the government has made it clear we are allowed to open. Once we see how the reopening of other sectors of business in Nanaimo and surrounding communities is handled and that we can be sure that there is a Level of comfort surrounding the activities in a public forum we will consider revisiting opening the club. For now we feel it is far too soon to take the risk combined with the stringent rules set forth that it would be far more stressful on both staff and patrons alike. We want you to enjoy your time within our establishment rather than be forced to provide your first and last name as well as your phone number and email and be herded like animals being faced with barriers and signs and more alcohol on your hands than being enjoyed in your favourite cocktails. Now is the time to Hit up a liquor store, pick up your favourite spirits beer or wine, and let the music and laughter among friends in your own back yard or around a camp fire this summer be your ticket to a more social end of social distancing. The evolve building has stood the test of time and we will be here when the time is right. We are not going anywhere and we promise to bring you a SAFE, FUN AND VIBRANT place to call home once again in the near future. From myself, the management, the owners and staff; please be safe!
