Engineers without Borders is having a writing competition! As part of the competition, we are accepting essays, poems or artwork responding to the question; What does economic stability mean to you as a university student? Submissions will be judged for creativity, insight and adherence to the prompt question.The winner will receive a $50 e-gift card to the store of their choice. Rules: This contest is open to all University of Saskatchewan students. Any essay submissions mus...t be less than two pages. Any poems and artwork submissions must be accompanied with a short written explanation. The deadline for submissions is at midnight (Saskatoon time) on November 18th, 2020. Thank you to everyone who participated in our three day environmental sustainability Instagram challenge!! We loved to hear how people took initiative this year to me more environmentally friendly and see people clean up their community, and reduce their waste. The winners of the gift card draw will be contacted directly later today.

Trash Tag Contest! Winter is officially here, but that doesn’t mean it's too late to participate in EWB’s trash cleanup contest! Take some time today to pick up any trash you find outside throughout the day, or take a trip with some friends to an area that could use some tidying. (If you're not too fond of the outdoors at the moment you can also participate by picking up any litter you may find at your work or residence) Send us a photo of you and the bag of trash you collected, or tag a post with #ewbtrashtag for a chance to win a 30$ Amazon Gift Card!
