It's been so fun to be able to bring you @twigandhorn products! We carry a range of their wooden products, as well as their wool wash, stitch markers, needle set, enamel pins and more! Their wooden sock blockers are an excellent find because wooden sock blockers in general can be hard to find in Canada. We were all certainty happy to be carrying them, and we're so glad that you are as well. This set of honeycomb stitch markers is especially neat because it's actually cut from... the inner square of their larger gauge rulers to help reduce waste. Then each stitch marker is etched into the wood so once you pop them out you have a perfect set featuring 26 small markers, 17 medium markers and 10 large markers. We also have their smaller honeycomb stitch marker set, with 25 markers, and two different sets of their plated steel removable stitch markers, one with 25 markers per bottle in your choice of Gunmetal Grey or Grey and a combination pack of these with 20 large and 20 small round markers and also 20 removable ones. This gorgeous sweater, the Together Apart sweater, was released at the beginning of the pandemic back in March and we opened up the naming process to you all! Together Apart was a wonderful way to encapsulate the feeling of what we were all experiencing all those months ago, and as Toronto finds itself in the midst of another lockdown, it is just as fitting today. We've restocked Lore from @thefibrecompany, and that means we've restocked our kits for the Dream Sweater! Lore is a wonderful yarn that we all love so much. It's processed in a mill in the historical district of West Yorkshire in England. It's made of 100% lambswool from the Romney sheep breed, locally known as Kent lamb. Lore is a DK weight yarn that really blooms as it's knit up, and it creates a beautiful knitted fabric once it's finished and washed.... Our Ombre Shawl class has been hugely popular, so we have scheduled some more dates! In this interactive 7 hour class, participants will learn the fundamentals of weaving with expert weaving instructor Deborah Livingston-Lowe of @upper_canada_weaving. Each student will learn techniques to produce an Ombré wool shawl on a four harness floor loom.
