Unique trip to Thormanby Island to assess ground bearing for an existing home. Absolutely beautiful location.

Fantastic site to visit. ICF has become very common and has proven to be a great product, when installed/reinforced properly (as this Contractor did so).

A rather large home being built on Hardy Island. Great crew and great adherence to structural specifications. Always a nice trip which happens to include a ferry ride and a boat ride!

What appears to be a massive amount of steel reinforcement is a result of substantial retention calcs which resulted in not only perimeter slab thickening for required soil bearing but a massive double grid of steel nearest hillside including girthy ties back into the upper backfill/grade.

Just lifting an older seaside home to add a basement/crawl space. Fantastic crew and even more ambitious project. These remarkable lifts were brought in from a company based in Saskatchewan.
