Got a very cool reference today. Most of the time we ask our customer to pay upfront. Some have hesitations, which I can understand. I explain the reasons why and they almost always understand. Here is an example. (Copied from their email) We used Lance at Excalibur Electric back in 2013 for a house rewire and everything went perfect except that we didn't finish our basement for him to come back and finish. Now that it is 2020 we wanted it finished and when we called them back Lance still honored his work and contract 7 years later!! They came back to finish plugs and lighting on the same contract. When Donald Wallace Steer was born on April 11, 1923, in Arena Saskatchewan, his father, William, was 32 and his mother, Laura, was 31. He married Sarah Gerturde Green on May 3, 1946, in Plentywood, Montana, USA. They had 3 children during their marriage. He had five brothers and two sisters. Donald Wallace Steer served in the military in 1941 when he wa...s 18 years old and in fact lied about his age so he could join at age 17. He voluntary enlisted into the Canadian Armed Forces in the Army on June 25th 1941 at Regina, Saskatchewan. He was Honorable discharged on March 14th, 1946 at Regina due to unit demobilization. His rank at Discharge was Corporal. His positions in the army was Tank Corps, DNR. 1941-1946, Canada. Britain and Northwest Europe WWII medals and decorations received the 1939-45 star, France and Germany Star, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, War Metal 1939-45, Canadian Legion Medal, and the French Medal of Honor (2020). 1944-present, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Discharge from Canadian Armed Forces. Some of that may not mean much to you but to Donald and his family Roger Steer and Michelle McGregor this is his life. The life of a man who to at the day of this writing is still alive and lives ON HIS OWN at age 95 in Langley, BC. If it wasn’t for men and women like Donald Wallace Steer my family may not have been able to wake up with out gunfire outside or a roof over my head and to be blunt you reading this may not have those freedoms either.
