Homemade Summer salad! It’s sometimes hard to have an appetite when it’s this hot out. Summer salads are a great way to get in your micronutrients and macronutrients without feeling overly full. This ingredient list was taken from my boyfriends sister and it was delicious! What we added: ... * Romaine and Iceberg Lettuce * Chopped carrots * Tomatoes * Cucumber * Apple * Raspberries * Strawberries * Marble Cheese * Sunflower Seeds * Dried Raspberries * Golden Raisins All ingredients were added to taste and catered to the amount of people having the salad. Feel free to experiments with variations in amounts and types of fruit and veggies! Work on making your food colourful and tasty! Treat yourself this week!

Productivity- let’s talk about it. My life over the last two weeks has been crazy busy. However, I had stayed organized with these simple tricks. Here are some simple ways to increase your daily productivity 1. Making lists. The first thing I do in the morning is make a list of everything I need to do for the day. I break my list into sections: school, work, personal tasks, cleaning and leisure. Breaking the list into sections makes it less overwhelming to accomplish and h...elps you organize your day. Also ensure to make room for at least an hour of self care each day. 2. Writing in a planner. I would not be able to live without my planner. Setting out everything that needs to be done for the week with all due dates and tasks allows you to know exactly what is coming up. This sets you up for a successful week, month and even year. 3. Having a clean space that is seperate from other leisure spaces. Having a dedicated work space is proven to increase productivity and focus. Doing work in your bedroom for example can lower productivity by associating sleep/ relaxation with the room you are in. Keeping your work space tidy allows your mind to stay focused on the task at hand without distractions. 4. Keep your in laptop tabs organized. Having too many things open at once can be overwhelming and even daunting. Minimize the tabs you do not need at that time. Only have open the ones relevant to what you are currently woking on to avoid distraction. 5. Colouring notes. Using colour is an effective and simple way to organize notes for school and work. Plus, it adds some fun into your life by having colourful underlines and arrows. 6. Lastly, coffee. That is all. Keep the momentum going this week and stay organized! #productivity

Client spotlight This is a two month transformation with my lovely client who has been working her butt off! This woman follows her nutrition and workouts to a tee and is making incredible progress! When she first came to me as a client, she was severely under-eating and her cortisol was through the roof. This weight LOSS was possible by eating MORE calories and doing LESS weight training. Yes, you read that right. ... When the body is overworked, stress hormones can wreck havoc on your body causing weight gain, fatigue, mental tiredness and food intolerances. I worked with this lovey lady to increase her food intake, while strategically using cardio and resistance training so that her body could get used to the energy demand. Her body responded amazingly and she lost 10 pounds her first month. Inflammation and water weight was reduced significantly and energy started to go back up. This is exactly a two month difference. 15 pounds down, and 4 inches off her waist. Energy levels have increased substantially and her body is responding wonderfully. The reason for this is because it has become a lifestyle to trying to to eat the way I do. It becomes HABIT. Forming habits take time and effort but are always worth it. Good habit formation allow us to create patterns so that you can become CONSISTENT. This is how you create results and turn your dreams into a reality.

I wanted to get on here and get a little more personal with you so welcome to a post of random facts about myself! * I have competed 3 times since October 2017 * I am a nationally qualified bikini athlete * My favourite foods are seafood linguine, chicken parmesan and blue cheese steak... * I’m in school full time for health, wellness and fitness * I have wanted to own my own business since I was 12 * I love board games and puzzles * Concerts are my absolute favourite event to attend * Music is a huge passion of mine * I drink my coffee black and am super picky where I get it from * Bookstores and antique shops warm my heart * I am terrified of planes * The mask is my favourite movie * I am an only child * Fall is my favourite time of year Another fun fact: I have a passion for helping people and making others happy. Finding and working with the root cause and not surface level symptoms is key to leaving harmful behaviours behind. When we begin to look at a person holistically, the results become drastic.
