The Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) has been hired by the Peel Police Services Board to conduct an equity, diversity and inclusion audit of the Peel Regional Police. An important part of this project is gathering information and feedback from the public about their experiences with Peel Regional Police. Thus, we will host two Public Townhall Consultation meetings in Peel Region one in Mississauga (March 19), and one in Brampton (March 26).... Only CCDI representatives will be present at the Public Townhall Consultations. As in impartial third-party organization, CCDI will be conducting these Public Townhall Consultations independently of the Peel Regional Police Services Board and the Peel Regional Police. As such, the Board and the Police have been asked by CCDI NOT to attend the consultations. Here is a link to our webpage with more information about the Public Townhall Consultations http://ccdi.ca/peeldiversityaudit/.
Black Canadian Art will be showcased at the ROM in 2018
