How I got started... Your career choice is something that is on your mind from a very young age. Some people go their whole lives not knowing what they were meant to do. Many people change careers over and over, while others like myself were born with a passion for one thing. I have always known what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted to help people, specifically children and youth. When I started in my career it was obvious I was naturally born with patience, a calm manne...rism, and a set of skills necessary to be a caring, compassionate Child and Youth Worker. I spent many years in different environments learning a wide variety of skills with a very sensitive and vulnerable community. I’ve worked with children, youth, and adults with physical, developmental, behavioral/emotional, and sensory impairments. My experience is extensive in many areas, but the most value I bring to the table is my passion for helping people. On a more personal level, I have a devotion to my health and wellness. I started my own fitness journey years ago and have been dedicated to living the best life I can possibly live with optimal health in all areas. Since the beginning of my journey, I decided that I wanted to bring out excitement in others and I believe EVERYONE deserves to have the best health they can achieve. My profession is with children, youth, and adults with special needs and I decided to bring both my specialties together. I am a BIG advocate for individuals with special needs. If you are a youth or adult with special needs or you know of someone who could benefit from having a little extra support with their health and wellness, let me show you how their life can be improved as you help them take control of their wellness.
