All Purolator deliveries are being delayed. Here is there statement: Update: Service impacts due to potential Canada Post labour disruption Purolator is currently experiencing a significant increase in shipment volumes resulting from a potential Canada Post labour disruption. As such, we are implementing the following service protocols until further notice:... Effective July 5, earlier service cut-off times or extended pick-up and/or drop-off windows for unscheduled shipments were implemented and remain in effect in select areas. This temporary service change is to minimize negative impact to service for our customers and protect service to remaining areas as much as possible. Effective, June 30, service guarantees for our time-definite and day-definite services have been temporarily suspended. Effective, June 30, new account registration processes have been temporarily suspended. Note: Shipments for both account and non-account customers will still be accepted at Purolator Shipping Centres, where and when capacity is available. Non-account customers must pay for their shipments via credit card, debit or cash only. As we work through processing high shipment volume, shipments will be processed on a first-in, first-out basis, in the order they are received, with premium shipments receiving priority. Unfortunately, there will likely be delays throughout this period, and we ask customers to schedule shipments as early as possible or adjust shipping schedules where possible to allow for extra delivery time throughout. Our operations teams are working diligently and managing contingency plans to process extra volumes as fast as possible and service our customers to their satisfaction. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes and are working to ensure optimal service to our customers as we process the additional volume. Please continue to visit purolator.com for the latest service updates related to this matter. Updated: July 19, 2016
