Update to our entry procedure: With fall and winter coming we ask that all patients arriving call or text us when they arrive. You will be given a number from OP-1 to OP-8. Please watch for us coming to the front doors to retrieve you as changing into outer wear for every patient is not feasible.
We are currently available to book regular appointments. Please note: 1) You must fill out all forms prior to arrival. You will receive an email link for this. IF you cannot complete the forms you MUST contact the office and set up an alternative 2) You will have to wear a mask to the appointment and at all times when you are in the office. Your mask will be removed for dental care only. 3) You will have to answer screening questions prior to booking and arrival. 4) You will ...have your temperature taken prior to coming into the office 5 The waiting room is CLOSED. If you require a helper for your appointment or are a parent of a small child you must let the office know ahead of time so we can book a space for that person during your appointment. All visitors are subject to the same rules as patients. 6) You will have to call the office when you arrive and wait in your vehicle. IF the temperature is unreasonable we will do our best to accommodate. See more
Monday June 22, 2020 our Hygienists will be returning in a very limited capacity. Please be patient as we have a three month backlog of patients, some with greater health need than others. We ask that you do not call the office for an appointment if you do not have a dental emergency.
Subject: FW: Guidelines for the distribution of Aligners Dear Dr. Warner,... Thank you for contacting Practice Advisory. As you know, all dentists in Ontario are directed by the College and by the Ministry of Health as follows: All non-essential and elective dental services are suspended immediately. Emergency treatment should continue. This directive includes, with very rare exceptions, all orthodontic treatment. On March 23, the College provided advice to its members on what constitutes a dental emergency. What is a "true emergency situation"? In dentistry, a true emergency situation includes oral-facial trauma, significant infection, prolonged bleeding or pain which cannot be managed by over-the-counter medications. Distribution of orthodontic aligners does not fall within the definition of emergency treatment. Therefore, you advice to patients wearing aligners is in accordance with College/Ministry direction. Stay well and safe, Dr Sandy Bennett, BDS, DDPH, MSc, DGrt Dental Consultant Professional Conduct and Regulatory Affairs Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario 6 Crescent Road, Toronto, ON M4W 1T1
Thank you to all of our patients for your understanding. We are very lucky to have such a fantastic community! We continue to work through our backlog of patients. We are not offering Hygiene Services at this time. If you have a dental emergency or are concerned about your oral health please call, text, or email the office.
We are now available to see patients in a reduced capacity. Due to our extended closure, we will be seeing those patients with greater need first. Due to new procedures and protocols all future appointments will be cancelled and moved. WE WILL CALL YOU. Please do not call the office at this time to change your appointment. Emergency patients should still contact the office to book an appointment. An emergency is pain that cannot be controlled by over the counter medications, swelling, bleeding and trauma. Thank you to all of you for your patience and continued support. We cant wait to see your smiles again!
Dentists in Ontario are NOT opening on Tuesday. Our office remains closed to all but emergency services. We understand how difficult this is for all of our patients. We are actively preparing our office and staff for when we can welcome everyone back. We are not booking ANY appointments for non-emergency care at this time. We are flagging every patient that has had an appointment cancelled or has called the office to book an appointment.
The office remains closed to the public. Some of you may notice more vehicles in the parking lot as we ready our clinic for new challenges we will face when we can see all of our patients again. Thank you all for continuing to support us and for your patience.
Dental health is critical to maintaining your overall health and immune system, so now more than ever you should be brushing twice a day and flossing. It could ...save you an emergency trip to the dentist. Learn more about taking care of your teeth when your dentist may not be available at https://bit.ly/3dZefQW See more
