A little tired tonight , but I have been sharing my story. As you know may roots of family are Amish and you may have seen when looking on my page my sister just lost her husband in a serious tragedy- horse and carriage/ car crash. Today was the official funeral and the pain was real. I watched my sister tell her children to say bye to Daddy and it completely broke my heart. The youngest one is 20 months The oldest one is 13. There are 6 children total . To show that I re...spect my sister and family I decided to wear the traditional cap and dress and ride with them in the carriage to the burial and church today. This is how I grew up- There are no cameras allowed around the community so I repected that. Tonight I feel shattered , but also hopeful.. Even after graduating from university with honours and owns a few businesses he still has to explain himeself most of the time. He cant be seen driving a nice car without a stigma. My own family disowned me, What about just playing loud music driving past a cop? Just a few to mention. We fear violence less than our own feelings.
