Good morning to those who may be reading. I, Adeel Khan, the founder of this company, I'm very cautious of promoting any political or ideological agenda. Actually, I just don't. But that's not the point of this post that I am making. That being said, I truly believe in the humanistic principles and further advancing humanistic causes. Here, I see the ethical Transhumanism movement as an extension of these set of ideals that have continued throughout the times. Related to th...e discussion that is being shared below. Here, I got a chance to witness a pretty awesome webinar hosted by the U.S. Transhumanist Party party and the topic of discussion was 'Art and transhumanism'. To be more precise, how to make use of a combination of art and technology, in order to, quote 'promote the advancement of science and technology, rational inquiry, and a more hopeful vision of the future' (Paraphrased). Topics, very near and dear to my neocortex. I found the discussion to be refreshing and enlightening. The discussion was also focused on topics like the negative/dystopian caricature of certain technological developments in the wider media. A development that warrants attention, so that a more nuanced and balanced platform for discourse exists. And while the sharing of this talk does not, in any shape or form endorse the overall mandate of any particular movement, including the U.S. Transhumanist Party.
