I saw this article about the top home improvement projects for fall, and I agree, to an extent. Experience shows it pays to pay attention to the local economy. "Before" pictured with new flooring already installed and counter top and backsplash removed (I often forget the before photos, but I'm working on it!). We changed out the window, appliances, and light fixture, installed quartz countertop, sink, tile backsplash, and new cabinet doors & handle pulls. Now it's a fresh new kitchen.

Life is too short to wait for BBQ weather. I created a BBQ area just off the kitchen doors. Roofing to keep dry and adjustable louvers for the perfect airflow. Also added outlets to power the rotisserie or speakers and a mix of solar and outdoor LED lighting to make this a functional, inviting space for most of the year.
