Just an update posting that we will be headed to Cuba (Havana/Cojimar/Guanabo triangle) for a week or two in late July to early August. This time of year in a seaside village such as those above can be a fantastic cultural opportunity as thousands upon thousands of Cubans take their family vacations in seaside villages. There will be dancing, singing and partying all along the long and and beaches. So please consider joining us as we go down if your interested in, or can assi...st with the following: - gaining a considerable amount of insight into Cuban culture, business, society and day to day life - meeting a bunch of friendly Cubans - starting or improving your Spanish and salsa dancing - learn Cuban small business opportunities by learning and meeting Cuban entrepreneurs - visit, learn and buy low cost cigars at a Cuban cigar processing wrapping company - helping us with a advice on how to start a charitable polluted Cuban beach reclamation project for the kids in Cojimar (Hemmingway's fishing village where the book and movie "The Old and The Sea" was written and shot. - exploring starting and planning a Canada/US and Cuba Spanish and English language and cultural exchange for the kids. We know a bunch of Cuban teachers, we just need to find some Canadian/American teachers - and learning and getting real time data (housing, food and transportation and other) for planning partial winter or longer retirement in Cuba If interested just message us on Facebook.
