Well, it has been nearly 8 months since we had Tony and his team install our Fujitsu mini-split. I can't say enough about the professionalism pre-, during and p...ost installation. Before installation, at the sales stage, Tony ensured he took the time to measure my house, sit with me and explain things, did the math and showed me my options. I had others quotes up to this point and they all told me this is what I needed, none took the time to make me understand why and what was my best fit economically and/or for comfort reasons. Installation time, Tony and his team were amazingly professional, clean and efficient. They were in and out in one day, pointing out why they did things over other ways, walked me through exactly what they were doing and ensured everything was cleaned up prior to leaving. More importantly, he sat with me to explain the functions of the system, recommendations and normal maintenance. Post Install, Tony contacted me after months of installation to warn me of the upcoming Snowmagedon and how to protect my system. Which would have been ruined if I didn't receive that message. He has always been there to answer my questions as I learnt more about the system. Now the big piece - did it same me money? Indeed we found a difference, I attached two charts, my year-over-year billing history as well as payments. What you will see is our usage is down despite 2020 being a very long and cold year. The billing is down but that needs to be referenced with the wattage used. Since my billing chart also includes the rate increase. Meaning, if we didn't have the mini installed the normal usage we had + the rate increase would have blew past 2018 and 2019 payments. Overall, there are a lot of people & businesses out there installing mini-splits and after 6 quotes, my Family and I choose Tony for his upfront professionalism, friendly and very trustworthy approach/description of what we needed vs. our wants with our overall budget. To anyone looking, Tony exceeded all our expectations, I am confident if you give him the time to come in meet and quote you, you will feel the same. Side note: Our house is nearly 3500 sq feet, 3 levels with a family of 4 and I work from home, therefore more than typical wattage usage. Unit we had was Outdoor Model: AOU12RLS3H and Indoor: 12000 BTU RLS3H Wall Unit with wifi capability. Thanks Tony and team!!

Don’t forget to clean your filters on your mini split 1. Turn the indoor unit off with the remote 2. Use something sturdy to stand on if you can not reach your indoor unit 3. Lift the front/top cover ... 4. Remove the filters 5. Remove as much dust as possible from the filters. You can use A soft bristled brush Brush attachment on a vacuum Rinsing them with warm water in the sink/bath (Please allow them to dry before putting them back) You should NOT Use Compressed air Bang them together Pour boiling water on them Put them on the lower rack of the dishwasher for a cleaning cycle Put them back in wet Above all please be careful and if you need emergency service please call Expert-Air at 7097256682

This blower motor has been in place for 18 years and was seized to the shaft. It took less than 5 minutes to remove with the knockout tool

Good morning everyone. Here’s a few pictures of one of my units. This is why I covered my outdoor unit. I had to climb over my backyard fence with a ladder as the only way to reach this unit. It took me over an hour to dig this out and now it’s back on and running perfectly

This is why I am concerned about mini split outdoor units.

With the big snow and wind storm nearly upon us I urge people with mini split heat pumps to power them off and to cover theirs in in a tarp. Heavy snow of up to and possibly over 50cm’s and winds up to 140kmh expected tomorrow into Saturday. The pictures are of my heat pumps. Doing this will eliminate fan faults and possible other damage caused by the storm. It prevents snow filling up the inside and stops the outdoor fan from being pushed in the wrong direction by the wind. If you don’t have a tarp or something to cover yours at least turn it off for the duration. I will set my baseboard heaters to comfort level for the duration of the storm and the clean up in the aftermath. If you have any questions please call me at 7097256682
