Hello, we have a busy client in the Oakville area that is looking to add to their team. They are a precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that use metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly and paint. As a General Laborer, you will be required to work in a team of 3-4 people, put Metal plates on conveyor to be cleaned by a laser cutting machine, you will then check the plates for quality standard, use a grinder to deburr edges, remove rust, ...and remove scrap metal after machine process. You will be required to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time. You will also operate under fast paced conditions and may be required to manage more than one machine at a time. You will be responsible for stocking the truck with equipment prior to departure, putting out traffic cones on site, assisting the Operator with setting up camera equipment or sewer equipment (lifting up to 50 lbs a few times per day) , may also need to assemble some equipment on-site.
