*For Sale* Aquilae Volanti aka Aqua 2018 Filly out of Notorious by Aquilan Calypso ... Both dam & sire from the same place, Rosenol Performance Horses. Attached are pictures of both dam and sire, pedigree, as well as a link to stud’s info. This filly is bred to perform and will be successful in any direction. She’s incredibly well put together and has a very sweet demeanour. Athletic and strong. Will make a great performance horse for a pro/keen upcoming rider. Great ground manners, up to date on farrier & deworming. Easy keeper, currently growing up and being a horse in a 40 acre pasture. Super easy to catch, level headed mare with a delightful presence. I can’t say enough good things about her!! Snatch her up now before 2021 - as her price will go up when she gets started as a 3yo. Asking price - low five figures Please PM for more info, or text/call Mikyla at (780) 898 6978.

Can you spot the #stallion ? This is the waiting area for the challenge class at the Nutrien Classic at Tamworth this week. I know that one of these horses is... a stallion, because I know the rider, there is likely more than one. This is a mixed class of mares, geldings and stallions. What’s my point ? We need to stop treating our stallions like precious, dangerous, unsocial beings, lest we create a precious, dangerous, unsociable being. Stallions are just horses .... with balls. Just because they have them doesn’t mean that hormonal behavior at inappropriate times should be acceptable. If we create the boundaries, we can have well behaved, pleasure to deal with stallions. When our 2 boys were still stallions, we took them everywhere- team penning, western shows, the beach, dressage, clinics. No one knew they were stallions - the didn’t squeal, roar, call, sniff, react in any way. Because that was our expectation and the boundaries that we set. I see too many stallions that are guarded and protected and end up being dangerous to both the handler, and and the people around them. Stallion ownership isn’t for everyone, and it shouldn’t be, but If you do own a stallion, please #raisehimright so he can live a happy and full life. Keep an eye out for my complete article on this subject. #horsemanship See more
