In case you weren't aware, Hair Extensions aren't necessarily worn just for length. Customers with thin hair can increase the volume that they get with hair extensions. While some choose to wear a full head, others wear just a few rows for that extra va va voom! Just because you have fine or thin hair doesn't mean you cant enjoy hair extensions like everyone else. If you choose the Linkies method, make sure that your extensionist is explaining the steps they will take to pre...vent slippage, this way you can tell if they really know what they're doing. Copper flare beads are better because they are longer, crimping more hair down the hair shaft this puts less stress on natural hair but evenly distributes the connection making it less likely to slip. A silicone bead is also fine, thin hair, silicone beads are made of aluminium with a silicone lining that also reduces slippage and holds hair gently and securely. Another customer favourite for thin or fine hair are the Tape-In hair extensions because they attach over a greater surface area therefore putting less stress on fine hair strands. They lie flatter against the head and give added comfort, they are less likely to be seen due to their size. Some people have very specific target areas, growing out bangs for instance we can add pieces to enable you to have the result now while your natural hair grows out and achieve your desired result. So, if its volume, highlights or just specific problem areas your seeking to find a solution for, message us and we can let you know which of these methods would be the best for you. Hair is priced by the inch so prices get higher as lengths get longer, if youre just looking for volume it can be an affordable option to get that desired result. Sometimes it can take only a couple of rows to give you the volume you need. If you're interested, we might just have the answer!

Would anyone be interested in trying this new technology Connection Hair Bonds? They cost a bit more initially but will hide the bond more than conventional Link type Completely re-usable Hair Extension System which can be re-used up to three times after the first application. Its possible to wear them for up to one year with proper care and maintenance, thus making them more affordable and very attractive for everybody. The hair and ring are built in one streamlined design.... They can withstand all hair chemicals and will not crack. The ring is made from a special aluminium alloy, precision machined with an automatic lathe, all the edges are rounded making it impossible to cut the natural hair or hurt the scalp. All the rings are colour matched on the inside to the connection hair. Easy and fast to remove with no residue left in the hair. Connections can be refitted 3 times after the first fitting. The ring is covered 360 degrees with hair on both the inside and the outside. Once attached the Connections become very flat and hold securely without any damage to the natural hair. The Connections are safe to wear, do not damage the natural hair, will not slip and are very easy to remove.

So many people tell me that they are not told how to care for their hair so here's a quick reminder. Brushing When brushing hold your hair to support it to avoid stress at the root, start from the bottom and work towards the crown area. Remember to brush the root gently to avoid loose hairs matting working in small sections. When you get to the root separate bonds with fingers. Its normal to lose some shedded hair but make sure you pull them apart. Brush twice a day... Washing Wet hair with warm water, place a small amount of shampoo in the palms of hands and stroke the scalp area. Never use circular of scrubbing motions as this will cause hair to tangle. Was the hair tilted slightly back and not forward. Your goal is to clean your scalp rather than your hair as your scalp produces oil which attracts dirt. Use hands to gently squeeze excess water from your hair. Place conditioner in the palms and stoke down the hair from mid lengths to ends, comb it through with your fingers to distribute. Never brush wet hair. Your attachments will last longer if you avoid putting conditioner on them, you do not need to condition the scalp area. Styling Rinse your hair with cool water to seal the cuticles and seal in the shine. Pat your hair dry and gently squeeze excess moisture. Do not rub as this will cause tangles. Add in a leave in conditioner and a heat protectant spray. Avoid placing products that contain oils,conditioners or lubricants directly onto the scalp or on the bonds. This will cause the bonds to gradually soften and cause loss or slippage of your hair extension. Use a light silicon if you absolutely have to but only on mid lengths to ends.. Dry the root areas first and always use a medium to low heat setting then finish with a cool shot once hair is dry. Never sleep with damp or wet hair. When using styling tools avoid touching the bonds as this could release an extension. Sleep Routine To avoid looking like Anna from Frozen when you wake up, place your hair into a loose braid or two this will prevent the hair from frizzing and split ends. A satin pillow case will also prevent tangles.
