Maintenance appointment for Sydney yesterday! This is her 4th or 5th set of extensions from me. I have known Sydney for many years! She has gone from jet black hair to blonde hair over the years lol. . I'm so impressed with everything she has been able to accomplish in her life over the years.

Just some gorgeous extensions air drying... . I mostly do my clients' maintenance appointments in one appointment. But sometimes, we book the removal in one appointment and the re-install a few days later. That gives some clients enough time to take a short break or to get other hair services that I'm currently not offering. . While the extensions are out, I like to give them a shampoo and deep conditioning treatment. And I let them air dry and ready for the re-install.... . From jet black hair to a beautiful ombré in 1 hour! . I reinstalled Rena's ombré extensions yesterday. . I first installed these extensions on Rena about a year ago. She actually has 2 sets of extensions. An ombré set and an all-black set. We usually go back and forth between the two sets of extensions depending on the look Rena is going for.... . I have done so many chemical-free ombré and balayage hairstyles over the years. It's amazing what you can create with just a few pieces of extensions in about 1 hour. . I have clients who have two or three different sets of extensions in different colours. They change their hair colour at their maintenance appointments every 6 to 8 weeks. No harsh chemicals involved! Just a new look depending on the season or your mood. . However, the installation has to be done properly and all the extension pieces have to be strategically placed to make sure the hair looks as natural as possible. . My girl Amanda came back to the salon yesterday for a full head of new extensions. I did her first installation in the summer of 2019. . It was so nice to catch up with her yesterday. I'm really impressed at how strong and resilient Amanda is, in spite of everything she has gone through in the past year. Very inspiring! .... For this look, I used 50 pieces of Extensionista Tape-in extensions. She wanted to be blonder so I mixed in some lighter blonde pieces to create an overall blonder look. GORGEOUS! . It's amazing what a few pieces of extensions can do! . That's 66 pieces of my invisible tape-in extensions. I used 33 pieces of highlighted blonde extensions mixed with 33 pieces of medium brown extensions. I strategically placed every single piece to create this gorgeous look on Maddison in just a little over 1 hour! No harsh chemicals! . I want to say a huge THANK YOU to every single person who has supported me and my business this year. . This year was certainly different. My salon was closed for 3 months because of COVID but the other 9 months were amazing! I got to meet some incredible women and it was awesome to catch up with all my regular Extensionistas. .... This lovely lady came to the salon yesterday to get her extensions fixed. Her original installation in the "before" picture was done at a different salon and the extensions were not properly blended with her blunt haircut. . I took all the extensions out, repositioned them and texturized her natural hair to blend with the extensions. .
