Over the past 4 months we have seen our public health pandemic, COVID-19 continue to evolve. As a small business, we introduced dozens of new health and safety measures in line with government protocols and worked together as a team to identify ways to best serve you awesome coffee (and donuts) during this challenging and isolating time. Late yesterday afternoon, we learned that one of our team members was confirmed with having the COVID-19 virus. Immediately, we began takin...g all the necessary precautions recommended by Public Health Agencies to continue to ensure your safety to the best of our ability. We have closed temporarily in order to undertake a deep clean of the entire shop and allow time for all staff to be tested. While this news is incredibly difficult to share, please know that we will continue to be honest with you, sharing updates on reopening through our social media and responding to any questions you may have. COVID-19 UPDATE . First and foremost we want to thank our community and our staff for their ongoing support during a very challenging time. . On the recommendation of the City's Medical Officer of Health, we will be offering take-out orders only until further notice. We will continue to follow the directives given by the city and other levels of government as the situation develops. Additionally, we will continue to go above and beyond to keep the shop clean and sanitized. ... . . Staying open is a difficult decision and as such the staff have been given the option of staying home if they choose to do so. We will stay open as long as it is safe to do so and as long as we have the supplies to continue operating. While we are at present running low on pound coffee beans, we expect a fresh batch later this morning. .
