Hey everyone, what would you say bringing back the TRAVERSE ski mountaineering race from Brandywine to Meager Creek coming April.? It was a 3 day, three night ...race back in May 1995. This year will be the 25th Anniversary . There was no internet or easy GPS then so way easier to run now with snowmobile support etc. Mess me if you wanna get involved. Lets take a look. Well, POWDER Magazine...You have been a slice of life for me in a big way. You inspired me from your premiere issues, like the one where David Moe and Steve M...cKinney climbed and skied Popocatepetl volcano in Mexico in the mid Seventies. That was inspiration for one of my first films; IN SEARCH OF THE ULTIMATE RUN. Then, of course was my first article from one of my earlier trips to Peru in 1977. Then of course, was Les Anthony's account of our TRAVERSE ski mountaineering race (The curse of the Traverse) and so many other good times at WESC in Alaska and much , much more. You documented so many of my friend's accomplishments as well, like Troy Jungen's and Ptor Spricenieks ski of Mt Robson's north face.
