When designing the spaces, colour and materials were used to complement historic elements while considering durability requirements of a heavily used space. Space use, furniture and fixtures, as well as material details speak to an active, vibrant c...ommunity with a rich history. For example, the carpet tiles are made of recycled fishing nets and felt was used throughout the open spaces to help dampen the acoustics.
