Thanks for allowing us some rest. We know having our office closed this past week wasn't convenient for you, but we are so grateful for the time of rest & restoration it allowed our family. This year has been tough. Sounds silly to even say as I know with COVID 19 this has been true for most everyone. But owning a small business during this time coupled with all the other stuff going on in our life (some related to COVID 19 some not) has made daily living very heavy for u...s the last few months. It was so nice to have a break from the stress even if only for 7 days. So thanks for your continued patience with us as your trusted eye care professionals. It truly is our pleasure to serve you. Big day in the Dr Neufeld's home yesterday as their oldest daughter graduated from grade 9 at the school she has attended since kindergarten. If we seem a little tired today we are. At this time we are still seeing patients by appointment only. The office will be closed June 29 - July 7 to allow the Neufelds some much needed rest & family time. We appreciate your continued patience as we strive to serve you well while ensuring your safety.

Small business owners fortunate enough to have their doors open right now are definitely going to remember this time for the constant cleaning. Truth is having a brick & mortar business always means one more space to clean. However, many of these cleaning jobs have now reached a whole new level of crazy!!! We are determined to ensure your chance of encountering germs in our space are extremely low. So as much as we aren't people who normally love to clean we happily sanit...ize everything after every patient leaves. He is risen! Sorry we are late posting today. We were enjoying an isolation Easter as a family. Although missing extended family terribly today, our current situation has made us even more aware of the joy we celebrate at Easter. When everything seemed so dark & hopeless it wasn't. God was fulfilling His plan in order to offer us His gift of eternal life through grace. Found these tulips in our yard today that remind me when things seem bleak if we look in the right place we can find life & hope no matter the mess going on around us. Dear Eye Live Friends, How are you doing? And I mean how are you really doing? Wishing I could sit down face to face with each of you right now & ask you that question directly and hear your reply. These are such crazy days we are finding ourselves in. Such a reminder of how quickly life can change & how we are not in control as much as we may like to think we are. For our family, we went from feeling comfortable & looking forward to some much-needed time away together,... to having no idea what we'll be doing tomorrow & staring the possibility of bankruptcy in the face in the blink of the eye. We know we aren't alone in these very real fears right now. Our family is thankful for our faith which we've been reminded is truly the only constant we ever have.
