*** Job Posting *** Bike rental shops in downtown Vancouver are looking for team players who are responsible, reliable, and have sense of ownership in the company they work. Requirements:... * Fluency in English; second language preferred * Customer service and good people skills are essential. * Bike repair and maintenance skills are desirable, but not prerequisites. We all are happy to show you everything about bikes as long as you are not afraid to get your hands dirty and willing to learn. After all, attitude and aptitude are far more important than existing skills. * Lift bikes and move them to specific areas. * Self-motivated and be able to work independently and unsupervised for a period of time. * Our customers are mainly tourists, and they are generally nice. * Flexible hours. We are looking for either full-time or part-time help. Very fun place to work with activities and gatherings among coworkers. Hourly wage would increase incrementally based on performance. Opened in 1938, Lions Gate Suspension Bridge connects Metro Vancouver to North Vancouver over the Burrard Inlet. It is one of the significant landmarks of Vancouver. Take a bike or car ride across the bridge to get to popular hiking locations in Vancouver.
Joe Fortes Seafood and Chop House located in downtown Robson. Joe Fortes have a good selection of seafood dishes to choose from including swordfish and sablefish. If you want to try different oysters, they also have oyster bars, which serves oysters caught from different areas around Canada. Not only is it lower in fat compared to typical ice-cream, but they do not use any geneically modified sugars. If you want to have ice-cream after your bike ride, this is one place to check out.
Dinesty Restaurant at downtown Robson. Located just a short distance away from our Robson location, enjoy a Shanghai style cuisine after a your bike ride. Tryout the many different dishes that they have to offer from their Shaolong Bao, chicken salad, to their diced chinese doughnut garlic, and shrimp wrap in lettuce or dough. They offer a variety of traditional soups and fried rice and noodles as well. It is a true Shanghai Cuisine experience.
Digital Orca by the Convention Centre. Grab a picture with the orca and the famous Olympic Cauldron after your bike ride at our Seawall location.
Located in an alley along West Pender in between Granville and Seymour St., is one of the hidden gems of Vancouver. The walls are painted in bright colors and is used as a play space for children completed with basketball hoops and hopscotch.
