I apologize for the long post and am sad and disappointed that I even have to make this post. But here goes.... Apparently there are rumours circulating surrounding the reason for my recent news of Face it Medical Aesthetics relocating. I would like to clear up any unfounded rumours. I have enjoyed every moment of my time at Intrigue over the last few years. My landlords have been wonderful and fair and the girls in the salon have been professional, supportive and wonderful... to work with. However , like everyone else , COVID-19 has left me and my business facing many unexpected challenges that have required me to make some business decisions in order to continue providing my clients with professional, confidential, safe and effective treatments. My new location will offer a private outdoor entrance, more space, ample free parking with no time limit and a new updated look! Customer satisfaction and safety will always be top priority at Face it Medical Aesthetics. My decision to relocate is strictly a business decision that is in the best interest of my clients and my business. COVID-19 Operational and Procedural Protocols at Face it Medical Aesthetics Due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19 additional measures and new protocols have been implemented at Face it Medical Aesthetics to ensure your health and safety. PRIOR TO ARRIVAL... Prior to your appointment you will be required to answer specific COVID-19 screening questions by phone. If you pass the telephone screening you will be permitted to come to your appointment. UPON ARRIVAL Please arrive ALONE. Only clients receiving treatment will be allowed to enter Face it Medical Aesthetics (with the exception of legal guardians). Upon arriving at your appointment you will be asked to remain in your vehicle until you receive a call or text asking you to safely enter the building Upon arrival at the door to the clinic you will be asked to apply a mask and use hand sanitizer. You will be required to complete the COVID-19 screening questionnaire again. If you do not meet the specific criteria of the COVID-19 screening you will be refused treatment and will not be permitted to enter the treatment room. If you do not agree to follow the mandatory health and safety requirements implemented at Face it Medical Aesthetics you will not be allowed to enter the clinic. FOR YOUR SAFETY Please avoid touching surfaces as much as possible. Your mask must remain on at all times unless instructed to remove it. Only bring necessary personal belongings to your appointment. A plastic bin will be provided for you to place your personal belongings during treatment. This bin will be thoroughly disinfected between clients. Appointments will be staggered allowing 2 hours between clients to allow for enhanced disinfecting. There will be no public restroom available for use during your treatment at Face it Medical Aesthetics. All non-essential items such as magazines, pillows, blankets and any other items that are difficult to disinfect have been removed from the treatment room. All follow up appointments will be booked over the phone. Personal protective equipment will be worn by all staff at Face it Medical Aesthetics as enforced by the Ministry of Health, public Health and Licensing authorities. Your health and safety are top priority at Face it Medical Aesthetics . Although strict operational guidelines and protocols outlined by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Public Health will be implemented and adhered to at Face it Medical Aesthetics there is no guarantee that you will not contract COVID-19 in the office or in the building. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated as I implement all of the necessary health and safety guidelines and protocols in order to provide you with the safest possible environment at Face it Medical Aesthetics. Important Update I have received confirmation from the Ontario Ministry of Health that in addition to being permitted to perform Botox and Dermal Fillers as stated in my previous update on May 28, I am now permitted to perform lasering procedures on the body only. Aesthetic procedures on the face and neck are NOT permitted by the Ontario Ministry of Health at this time. I can assure everyone that the Health and Safety of my clients, family and friends has always been and will... continue to be top priority. Strict operational guidelines outlined by the Ministry of Health will be in place and adhered to at Face it Medical Aesthetics. I will be contacting everyone by phone prior to their appointments to complete a mandatory COVID-19 assessment/screening. If you pass the screening you will be permitted to come to your appointment as long as you agree to follow the health and safety requirements that will be mandatory at Face it Medical Aesthetics. There will be no exceptions! I ask for your patience as I do my best to get everyone rescheduled. I have a list with everyone that has had their appointments cancelled since March and you will be contacted in the order that your appointment was cancelled. Important Update Face it Medical Aesthetics has been closed due to government regulations surrounding COVID-19 since March. I have received many phone calls and messages from my valued clients asking when I can resume treatments. Today after spending many hours on the phone with the College of Nurses of Ontario and the Ontario Ministry of Health I have clarification that as a Registered Nurse I am allowed to perform treatments. However, I am ONLY allowed to perform procedures... that require a licensed healthcare provider and must be able to follow the operational requirements as outlined by the Ministry of Health. Botox and Dermal Fillers are the only procedures that I offer that require a licensed health care provider and therefore will be the only treatments that I will be offering until further notice. Unfortunately all other procedures offered at Face it Medical Aesthetics do not require a licensed health care provider and are not allowed by the Ministry of Health in Ontario at this time. If you are scheduled for anything other than Botox and Dermal Fillers please consider your appointment cancelled until further notice. I can assure everyone that the Health and Safety of my clients, family and friends has always been and will continue to be top priority.
