A: I was taught how to knit from my Mother when I was 12 years old, so Ive been knitting for 56 years!... Q: How long does it typically take to knit a Cowichan Sweater? A: It takes approximately 36 hours of knitting from start to finish. Q: Do you have any memorable moments knitting Cowichan Knits? A: Yes, I knit sweaters for the 2010 olympics that was hosted in Vancouver Q: Have you taught any of your family members to knit? A: Yes, I have taught my sister, son, and my granddaughter. Q: Do you have a favourite pattern you like knitting? A: I like knitting bear patterns as my mothers side is from the bear clan. Thanks so much for being such a great part of Face of Native Mabel!!!
