Here at FACES we are incredibly proud of our talented and skilled staff. Our staff strive to live by FACES principles in their everyday life. Many of you may recognize Sam, who is our Camera Lead & leads our communications and marketing. Last week he was acknowledged by the Alberta Government and the Premier Jason Kenney, for his volunteer efforts during COVID-19 to support businesses. FACES Announcement Thank you to all of our parents, students and supporters who are tuning into this announcement concerning FACES this summer, 2020. After significant discussion and consideration, the Board of Trustees and Senior Administration of Livingstone Range School Division made the difficult decision to cancel FACES this summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic and potential risks for FACES participants, families, and staff. This decision was not made lightly. The Board o...f Trustees and Senior Administration strongly support the FACES program and its positive impact for students. We are supportive of that decision. This situation creates a sad day for FACES and we are intensely aware of the great disappointment many of you will struggle with because of the cancellation. We are pleased to announce that all grade 9 and 10 students will have the opportunity to register for FACES next summer. Our team has already started working on programming and we are excited about improving the FACES experience for even greater impact and meaningful contribution to the young lives we are so passionate about. Stay tuned and we will let you in on our plans towards the end of the year. Again, thanks for your continued support. We hope to connect with you next summer. We are aware of Alberta's plan to reopen, at this point the GOA have opened phase 1 - summer camps for a maximum of 15 people. There is no date or details for Phase 2 or 3 at this time. We are in constant communication with Livingstone Range School Division and Alberta Education, and will not be making commitments or further announcements on the FACES 2020 plan until May 15. #FACES
