Every year while our looking for sheds I always come across a few deadheads, nature is unforgiving... typically I leave all the skulls I find and focus on the naturally shed antlers which are legal to retain and sell. When the antler is connected to the skull it is considered found dead wildlife and here in Alberta a permit is required to retain these. As this is an impressive mature muley I have seen before I will contact my local Fish and Wildlife office to request a permit first thing Monday morning. #nature #harvestyourown #fairchaseshedhunting
