An Important Note About Social Bubbles for Sunday Live Service With increasing community transmission globally and locally, our leadership is adjusting requirements and sharing reminders for those who attend Live Services at FST. In terms of social bubbles, they may exist outside of attendance at FST live services, but from the standpoint of public health guidance for Places of Worship, they are not recognized and don’t exist. The exp...ectation is that attenders will only sit together with members of their own immediate household. We understand that this may not seem logical if you are connected to these people away from church, but as leaders, as we try to respect the expectations on us and provide ongoing safe gatherings, we ask for your compliance. Welcome to our first Church Family Christmas Eve Zoom call! Since we suspended all in-person gatherings, we, the leadership at FST, have moved our Christmas Eve service online. COVID has largely impacted many of our volunteers over the last many days which has led us to be creative with our Christmas Eve service. We are excited to host 2 zoom calls in order to accommodate all those wanting to join in. Zoom has a limited amount of space, so we ask that you only register 1 fami...ly member so we can send out the link. That link will allow your entire family to gather around the screen to participate in the zoom call. If your preferred zoom time is full, please feel free to register for the other time. We have calls at 5pm or 6pm (you can choose your option upon registration) Once everyone is registered, we will send the zoom link out on Christmas Eve. On behalf of the pastors, elders and community at Faith St. Thomas, we would like to express our condolences and send our love, prayers and best wishes to the Cairncross and Hiddink families following the passing of Arthur. Arthur Cairncross was a giant of faith in our church for many years, faithfully shepherding and mentoring men, bringing wisdom and godliness to leadership and always a champion of the Gospel. Hundreds of men at FST were blessed, encouraged and supported by... Arthur and through that many marriages flourished, many families healed and many brothers were reached. It is hard to believe that Arthur has gone. We comfort ourselves by remembering his faithfulness and his faithful Lord. He is with Jesus now, whom he loves passionately, and who played the lead role, centre stage in Arthur's life. While we grieve with the family and pray for the peace of Christ to fill their hearts, we also allow Arthur's life to challenge us one more time. "All to Jesus I surrender, all to him I freely give. I will ever love and trust him, in his presence daily live. I surrender all." See more
